Pray without ceasing

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing. Pray continually. Keep on praying. This simply means to remain in communion with the Lord at all times. One cannot spend the entire twenty-four hours of everyday in formal prayer. However, one who abides in His presence is always mindful of our Almighty God who guides, provides, comforts, warns and encourages. There is no need to feel anxious, abandoned, defeated, lonely or forgotten. When we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have the blessed assurance of His ongoing love and care. When facing challenges, inhale as you receive that challenge. Following that action, exhale slowly as you give it to the Lord with a prayerful heart.
