Pastor\u2019s eleventh anniversary<\/strong> worship service at 11:00 AM will be held on Sunday, October 22nd.<\/strong> Worship and praise the Lord with us, as we give thanks to Pastor Cynthia for her leadership, prayers, wisdom and love. Guest speaker is Rev. Phyllis Pickett, Associate Minister of Bethel AME Church, Evanston, Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s celebrate Children\u2019s Day<\/strong> during 11:00 AM worship service on Sunday, October 29th. This will be a joyful day to worship with our young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you miss the Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of  God (CAMF) Fall Unity service? <\/strong> The guest speaker was Reverend Sylvia V. Reid. Reverend Reid, pastor of United Faith Fellowship Church of God in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She is a third generation ordained minister, learning from her parents, the late Bishop Benjamin Reid and the late Lady Pearl Reid.  Pastor Sylvia shared the word of God at Langley Avenue Church of God<\/a> at 11:00 AM on Sunday, September 24th and at the 4:00 PM CAMF Unity Service at 4:00 PM at First Church of God Christian Life Center<\/a> in Evanston, Illinois 60201. Host Pastor: Pastor Mont\u00e9 Dillard. Save The Dates:
<\/strong>On Sunday, November 5th, Baptism service<\/strong> will take place at the end of our 11:00 AM worship service. Be sure to give your name to Pastor Mario Jenkins if you plan to be baptized.

Giving Group Sunday is November 12th<\/strong>
Bring your donations to church to be placed in the cars in the parking lot following 11:00AM worship service. Donations will be taken to the African Shelter for families. Again this year, there is an even greater need. The following items will be accepted:
–Diapers and baby wipes
–Clean and gently used coats, jackets and sweaters of ALL sizes, children & adults.
–Monetary donations are also accepted and can be turned in no later than Sunday, October 29th<\/strong> to: Sis.  Vanessa Weatherly, Sis. Brunetta Williams or Deacon Theresa Banks.
Remember to bring or send your donated items on Sunday, November 12th.<\/strong>
There is no storage availability at the church prior to that date. Thanks in advance for helping the Giving Group to bless those who are less fortunate and stand in need of help. The Lord blesses our efforts of benevolence.<\/p>\n\n\n

The 2023 National Inspirational Youth Convention (NIYC)<\/strong> will be held in Houston, TX, Dec. 27-30, 2023<\/strong>. The theme is Real Love<\/em>.<\/strong> Register today
