Father’s Day is today! <\/strong>Celebrate your father, grandfather, uncle and men that are mentors in your life. Let us give God thanks for the men that have provided love, strength, wisdom and examples of a Christian man. Be sure to pass on those same qualities and character to the next generation.

Vacation Bible School 2024 is back! Register today. <\/strong>Learn more about volunteering as a staff member, teacher and donating to VBS. Theme: The Fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22. Juneteenth is Wednesday, June 19, 2024<\/strong>. Juneteenth (short for \u201cJune Nineteenth\u201d) is a holiday commemorating this day, which marked an effective end of slavery in the United States<\/em>. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation. Celebrate Women’s Day! <\/strong>On Sunday, June 2nd, Langley Women’s Ministry celebrated all women that make a difference in the lives of others. The speaker was Min. Priscilla Williams,<\/a> Theme: Virtuous Women: Laborers for the Kingdom, Titus 2:1,3-5, 7 and 12. A special presentation was given to the Woman of the Year, Deaconess Marsha A. Lawson. Group photos, refreshments and fellowship was a part of the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n
