Today we honor our Beloved Pastor, Rev. Cynthia Thomas on her 12th Pastoral Anniversary! <\/strong>We honor you for your many years in ministry. Your kindness, compassion, and spiritual wisdom have deeply touched our hearts. Thank you for answering God\u2019s call! Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.<\/em>\u20131 Timothy 3:13

For twelve years Pastor Cynthia has served the Langley Avenue Church of God. During this time, many things were accomplished. Here is a preview of some of those accomplishments: Building upgrades, Ministry updates, Music Ministry Updates, Food Pantry turned over to Young Adult Ministry, and many other updates.<\/p>\n\n\n

The National Association Women of the Church of God 2024 Convention<\/strong> was held Thursday, October 24 \u2013 Sunday, October 27, 2024<\/strong> at the Embassy Suites at the Hilton, in Columbus, OH 43219. The theme of this conference was Iron Sharpens Iron; You Are More Than Enough\u201d taken from Proverbs 27:17. We heard from powerful preachers such as Rev. Dr. Kimberly Majeski, Rev. Dr. Vanessa Quainoo, Rev. Dr. Leslie Barnes, and Rev. Marissa Farrow. To view several of the services go to NACOGTV YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Call to Prayer <\/strong>every Sunday morning for our local youth ministry and the leadership and direction of the National Inspirational Youth Convention (NIYC). View the Presiding Elder Clifton McDowell\u2019s<\/a> appeal to pray for NIYC as they plan for the next convention in 2025. Get involved and participate as we live out Psalms 78:4<\/a> and Joel 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
