Today we honor and celebrate Reverend Cynthia Thomas on her 13th Pastoral Anniversary.<\/strong> Our special guest speaker is Reverend DeAnna Gibson, an Ordained Minister of the Church of God Ministries. Her home church is the First Church of God in Gary, IN. We anticipate a special word from the Lord!

The Month of November<\/strong> is known for Thanksgiving and Election Day. It also marks the transition into winter in the Northern Hemisphere and is the month for various observances, such as Native American Heritage Month, Epilepsy Awareness Month, and the start of Advent in some Christian traditions.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.<\/strong> There is no statewide voting scheduled in Illinois this day. Illinois holds its major general elections in November of even-numbered years. While there will be no federal or state elections, some local units of government have specific filing deadlines around that time. You can, however, still participate in prayer. ALL elections are crucial these days. It is our prayer that God will touch the hearts and minds of ALL who will vote on Tuesday.
