\n<\/strong>The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ
\n<\/strong>The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our Christian faith.\u00a0This event, which occurred almost two thousand years ago, is the best attested fact in human history and experience. The resurrection of Christ was predicted in the Old Testament and by Christ Himself.\u00a0During the forty days following His resurrection, Jesus showed Himself to be alive from the dead by “many infallible proofs.”\u00a0He appeared at various times and places to many people who told others what they had seen.\u00a0 Click here<\/a> for more information. ***<\/p>\n

A Brief History of Easter\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Photo<\/a>Easter 2021 falls on April 4. Every year, the holiday is celebrated on\u00a0the first Sunday following the first full moon after March 21, the spring equinox.<\/p>\n

In 325 A.D., the Council of Nicaea, the\u00a0first ecumenical council of the Christian church, declared that Easter should be observed on this date. Easter can fall on any Sunday between March 22 and April 25.<\/p>\n

Orthodox Easter celebrations usually take place later than that of Roman Catholics and Protestants. This is because Eastern Orthodox churches base their calculation of the date of Easter on the Julian calendar instead of the Gregorian calendar. For more information, click here<\/a>. ****<\/p>\n
