Reflection: Eyes Wide Open<\/em><\/strong> (Read Isaiah 29:9-12)**
\nI have one of those devices that I wear on my wrist to measure the distance I walk, calories burned during exercise, and my time of sleep. When it was new, I played with the various commands and was amazed at what that little gadget could do. The user’s manual told me about features I never imagined. I could monitor, such as my weight and food consumption. I was blind to how I could make greater utilization of this device until I made the effort to pursue that information.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we close our eyes to those things God wants us to have and be. We say we are too busy and pretend we don’t understand what God wants to do in our lives. But when we take the time to read God’s Word and pray, we can hear his voice and our lives can blossom in ways we never imagined.<\/p>\n
