Happy Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. For Langley Ave Church of God and its community we are honoring two Women of God who serve faithfully for the kingdom.

The honorees for 2021 are Sis. Jessye G. Payne and Sis. Anita A. Jackson. These extraordinary Women of God have continued to live out the virtues of a woman found in Proverbs 31.

Today, we celebrate you for your wisdom, honor, strength, kindness, as prayer warriors, fear of the Lord, loving, creativity, dignity, fashionista, provider, noble, boldness, visionaries, joy, mentors and leadership.

Thank you for serving in various ministries in the church that have included the Usher Board, Project Care and the Special Events Committee. Your service for more than 55 years has been a God send and essential ministries for our church family and the community.
