Birthday Celebrations: Today we celebrate two women who serve our church with faithfulness and dignity. The first woman leads and looks out for the women of the Langley Avenue Church. She is very thoughtful and precise in her movements. She loves planning things and equally enjoys being in the background. We are bringing her to the forefront to acknowledge her and thank her for all that she does to make everyone feel welcome and a part of our Langley Church Family. Dr. Christina Stringfellow, we want to show our love and appreciation to you and all that you do for our Women’s Ministry! We salute you as the President of the Langley Avenue Church of God (LACOG) Women’s Ministry, Dr. Christina Stringfellow. Have a Happy Birthday as you celebrate on July 13th.
The second woman, is Attorney Kyra Payne, whose birthday is on July11th. We are so grateful for the services Attorney Payne renders to assist and guide our church through many circumstances. She always serves with a smile and we wish her an enjoyable month of celebration! Happy Birthday and we love and celebrate with you Attorney Kyra Payne!!
Annual 4th of July Picnic: On Monday, we had a wonderful church gathering at the Dan Ryan Woods. We had enough food to feed an army! Special thanks to the men, who mastered the grills, and the women who cooked yummy side dishes and scrumptious desserts for our church’s July 4th picnic! We had a wonderful time! See you next year!

The National Inspirational Youth Convention (NIYC) will host the first in person convention in 2 years. The theme is: Who Are You? Identity (John 1:12). The convention will take place in Atlanta, GA – December 27th – 30th. Registration is now open. Please visit niyc.org to register. Note: If you registered in 2019 you won’t need to register again.
