New Members Fundraiser Dinner. Please support the New Members Group. When: Palm Sunday, April 13th (immediately following morning service). Menu: Fried or grilled chicken dinners. First Church of God in Harvey Celebrates their 50th Church Anniversary TODAY- Sunday, April 6, 2025. There will be two services: 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Have You Heard? Cory Booker breaks a 68-year-old Senate record with a 25-hour speech April 1, 2025. Senator Booker has broken the record for the longest speech ever delivered in the Senate. The speech addresses a symbolic protest agains our current administration, in which he warns of a “grave and urgent” moment in American history. The fourth-ranking Democrat in the chamber filled some of the time reading letters from constituents, who say they are being harmed by the current administration’s policies and procedures.
