Grateful Christians*
Grateful inspiration for Christians is found in recognizing God’s goodness and steadfast love, using thankfulness as a way to enter His presence and unlock blessing. Key sources of inspiration include Bible verses like Psalm 136:1 (“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever!”) and 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”).
Gratitude Can Extend To:*
- For God’s constant love: “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 136:1).
- In all circumstances: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
- To approach God: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4).
- For answered prayers: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him” (Psalm 28:7).
- As a sacrifice: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name” (Hebrews 13:15).

Prepare now for the moment…NO work (if you can abstain); No spending; No restaurants; No projects; No events; No Restaurants; No backing out!! To prevent “spike spending” before and after the blackout, we are asked that all participants purchase goods needed from community-owned stores and markets leading up to and after the dates.
