Vice President Harris is married to Douglas Emhoff. She has two stepchildren, Cole and Ella Emhoff.
Vice President Harris’ faith journey started when she was a little girl. On Sundays, her mother would dress her, and her sister Maya, in their Sunday best and send them off to the 23rd Avenue Church of God in Oakland, California, where Maya and Kamala sang in the children’s choir. That’s where she formed some of her earliest memories of the Bible’s teachings. It’s where she learned that “faith” is a verb and that we must live it, and show it, in action.****
Vice President Kamala Harris is an inspiration to all women, regardless of their race or nationality. We are proud of her and her accomplishments. We thank God that her relationship with the Lord, began under the umbrella of the Church of God Movement and has spread throughout the world!
