Reflection: Making Godly Choices***
Everyday we make choices. Some are easy, and some more difficult. Those that are easy require little thought. These usually have less consequences than the difficult choices. Others are more important, but still easy to answer. But many questions fall into a gray area where there is no obvious right or wrong. Ex. Do I spend today working on my garden project or cleaning the garage? Should I inform my niece that she is not parenting her children correctly?
Decisions are often made quickly, based on our emotions – anger, hurt, or even positive feelings such as sympathy. But emotional reactions may not lead to wise choices. How much better to imitate Nehemiah and pray to God first.
Nehemiah 2:1-10
