Announcement
The family of Martha L Alexander would like to thank Langley Ave for ALL of the love and support they have so loving showed our family before, during and since the memorial service. Saying just thank to you seems so trivial and impersonal, for all that has been done for our family. We are forever grateful to each one of you for all of your time and effort you chose to share with us. May God bless and keep you as you continue to Bless others. Lovingly, Marsha, Daryl, Margueritta
Reflection: Teaching and Healing**
Jesus baptizes us with the Holy Spirit, and it is only by his power that we can accomplish his purposes. We have been created to carry out his will on this earth, serving others by teaching and healing.
How many blessings are we missing because we are obsessed over our own problems? So many people around us are truly harassed and helpless; they lack good leadership and protection in their lives. Jesus said that the needs are great, but there are few people ready to meet those needs. God is the one who calls and equips us to serve others in his name.
We need to be ready to work in God’s harvest field. Nothing should stand in the way of us doing what God has called us to do. It’s time for us to move forward as God leads. We are his vessels on earth to accomplish his will. — Judy Davis
Where is God calling you to serve in the harvest?
Stay prayerful and read the following daily:
Isaiah 38:16-20
Matthew 14:1-12
Matthew 14:13-21
John 6:22-29
