preserving our history & heritage, networking, collaborations, and service to the Kingdom of God. The National Association has become stronger, better connected, more vibrant and we are debt free! Hallelujah! Please enjoy this PowerPoint presentation (below) that celebrates some of the joys God has given us.
I have worked alongside many amazing leaders of the National Association, and I have learned from them. I have seen the power of collaboration as we have partnered throughout the wider Church of God and with many other faith groups around the nation and internationally.
I can say with godly pride that the NACOG family is filled with some of the most wonderful Saints of God in all the world. I love you!
As I leave this office to assume my next assignment as the Senior Pastor of Arlington Church of God in Akron, Ohio, I do so with great excitement as the incoming CODO Rev. Arnetta Bailey has our full confidence and support. She is a gifted leader and will work with our Presiding Elder Rev. Clifton McDowell to continue to lift the vision of the National Association to greater heights and brighter days.
My prayers are with you as you wrestle with current and future issues. I am inspired and renewed in my faith by the spirit and heart of the National Association which is captured in these words from the National Association Declaration of Inter-dependance, (which was unanimously adopted by the General Assembly of the National Association of the Church of God in West Middlesex PA, on August 7, 2013).
“We seek to be in one place and of one accord. We gratefully receive the rich heritage and history of the National Association of the Church God, and we joyfully embrace the indispensable nature of our connected life and the compelling power of our unique mission “To pursue, promote and endeavor to model, holiness and unity in the body of Christ.” We are proud to be partners in ministry with the diverse constituencies and ministries of the International Church of God movement, of Anderson, Indiana.
We humbly pledge to seek agreement, alignment and accountability to one another and for one another, as we magnify the Lord and exalt His name together.
To God be the glory! We are better together!”
Amen!
Peace & Much Love,
Rev. Dr. Charles J. Myricks, Jr.
