The Langley Prayer Line is staffed by Langley ministers and prayer team members. Note the available day and time for prayer.

Wednesday prayer 6:15 am – 6:45 am and 11:15 am -12 noon

Call in with prayer requests, to connect, to pray together and for any other needs.

1. Pray against the senseless violence, carjacking, and looting amongst our young people.
2. Pray for healthy minds, spirits, and relationships among young adults and children.
3. Pray for world peace and that the war on Ukraine be stopped.
4. Pray for unsaved loved ones, neighbors, elected officials, etc.
5. Pray for healing, justice, homelessness, all efforts to build and uplift underserved communities.

Celebrating Women’s History Month – CLAUDETTE COLVIN
Too tired to give up her seat on the bus home from high school, on March 2, 1955, Claudette Colvin refused to move for a white passenger—nine months before Rosa Parks would do the same. Later she said that she felt inspired by the memories of earlier pioneers to stand—or sit—her ground. As she told Newsweek, “I felt like Sojourner Truth was pushing down on one shoulder and Harriet Tubman was pushing down on the other—saying, ‘Sit down girl!’ I was glued to my seat.”
The 15-year-old Colvin was arrested for violating Montgomery, Alabama’s segregation laws, and her family feared for their safety as news of the incident spread. Colvin pleaded not guilty, and was given probation.
