The Burnett Gene Terry Scholarship Application sponsored by Terry & Associates Foundation, Inc. offers up to two (2) $500 scholarship awards to qualifying high school seniors and college students. The award recognizes students who demonstrate motivation in their pursuit of higher education, are involved with the NIYC or Youth Camp Middlesex, and serve their communities. Applications and all supplemental materials must be postmarked or emailed to info@niyc.org by June 30th, 2023.

Chicago Elects a New Mayor & First Family. We congratulate the Mayor-Elect of Chicago, Brandon Johnson. We ask everyone to keep him and his family lifted up in prayer. Ask the Lord to keep them safe and to use Mr. Johnson to help, lead and serve ALL people of Chicago. “Pray for our leaders…”  1 Timothy 2:2

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will begin accepting pre-applications for the South Suburban Senior Living developments on April 25, 2023. These applications are for one bedroom apartments at the Turlington West Apts., 15306 S. Robey Avenue in Harvey, IL 60426 and the Edward Brown Apts., 3210 West 139^th Street in Robbins, IL 60472. For qualifications, the application, and other pertinent information, please visit: www.thehacc.org. The wait List Pre-Applications will be available on April 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Pre-applications will be accepted until May 30, 2023.

Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God (CAMF) Spring Unity Hybrid Service was Sunday, April 23, 2023, and titled: “That They All May Be One…” -John 17:21. The guest speaker is Rev. Brian Mack, Pastor of Market Avenue Church of God in East St. Louis, Illinois. Langley Ushers 2023

The National Association of the Church of God Ushers Convention will be held on May 18-20, 2023 in Ypsilanti, MI.  The theme is “Revive and Rebuild.” For more information, visit nationalushers.org. We pray for a safe journey going and returning as LACOG Ushers attend  the convention.

Join the Church of God Convention and General Assembly in Tampa, Florida, June 22-25, 2023.  The Tampa venue will also be host to the inaugural gathering of the newly formed Global Church of God Alliance (GCGA), which will convene immediately following Convention. This historic event is the first-ever convocation of representatives of Church of God assemblies worldwide to establish an ongoing strategic table to strengthen and network the Movement globally.
