Announcements:
March is Women’s History Month.
Every year since 1995, presidents have issued a proclamation designating March as Women’s History Month. But before it was Women’s History Month, it was Women’s History Week, and before that it was only a day. Click here to learn about 20 Black Women who made history.
A woman that made a difference to the kingdom and Langley Ave is Sis. Anita A. Jackson.
Sis Jackson was a bold trailblazing woman of God. She was involved in various ministries of the church. To name a few, she taught Sunday School, a member of the Special Events Committee, and a member of Project Care. Project Care is a ministry that distributes food to the community. Sis Jackson was the president of the Usher board. In each ministry she was able to live out her faith through love, compassion and helped others to learn more about Jesus. She was a servant leader, a mentor, faithful, loved her family and made a difference in the lives of many. Sis. Anita A. Jackson, you are truly missed! Take your rest in the arms of Jesus!
Can you name a woman that has made an impact in your life?
